About Samarbeta Jämt

Samarbeta Jämt is a meeting place and a resource base for those involved in international/immigrant women's organizations, state agencies, committees or networks.

Are you searching for new ideas, inspiration or access to education over the internet? Do you want to know more about integration and equality in the Nordic countries? If so, this website is for you!
Here you will find opportunities to exchange experiences with other people and organizations as well as contacts for potential collaborative projects.

You may register your organization to present your programs as well as take part in other organizations' programs. Registration is free of charge.

The Project

The project Samarbeta Jämt started in the Spring of 2004. After the initial two and a half years the network hopes to be established and function as a useful tool in finding collaborative partners and new development opportunities for women's organizations. During the project, educational opportunities will be offered to increase the number of potential visitors and registered members. Among others, general computer courses will be offered. Samarbeta Jämt aims to:

• increased equality and integration.
• highlight the wider scope of the women's movement
• advance female participation in societal development
• increase the number of women of different nationalities on the job market in general, in the private and public industries, on boards of directors and as part of other governing structures.

Samarbeta Jämt is a network which we will develop together as we seek to develop our organizations based on mutual interests, critical points of common agendas, project and funding opportunities.

This website is owned and administered by the Organization of International Women - Locale ResourceCenter for Women in Malmö. The project is funded by the Swedish government and the European Social Fund, Växtkraft mål 3.
